A young boy was living on a dairy farm. In order to get some pocket
change he decided to pick up some eggs to sell to his neighbors. He
found an empty basket, which he filled with newly hatched eggs.
To the first neighbor he sold exactly half of the eggs he had and a
half of an egg.
To the second neighbor he sold exactly half of the eggs he had left
and a half of an egg.
To the third neighbor he sold exactly half of the eggs he had left and
a half of an egg.
Now he did not have any eggs left, how many did he have in the
beginning.
