    Of FFS... I can only hope you're being sarcastic, but I'm no longer sure.

    Please let it be sarcastic.

    Thats actually easy. 36. Bc6 is the response to most reasonable black moves.

    examples

    35... Bb8 36. Bc6 {threat: Rd8+} Ke7 37. Rd7+ {now Rd8 wins unless black king goes to e8 then the discovered check Rd5+ wins}

    35... Rb5 36. Bc6 {its all over}

    35... Ke7 36. Bc6 {not the easieast but black can't allow the exchange sac for obvious reasons ...Bb8 transposes to the first line and ...Bc7 is obviously bad}

    35... Rc5 36. Bc6 {still} Rxc6 37. Rxd6 Rxd6 38. c8(Q)+

    35... Bc7 36. Rc1 Rxd5 {36... Bb8 37. Rc8+ Ke7 38. Rxb8 Rxd5 39. Re8+ and 36...Bd6 37. Rc6 Rxd5 38. Rxd6 Rxd6 39. c8 (Q)+ } 37. Rxc7 Rb5 38. Rc8+

    35... R- somewhere along the a file besides a1 or a8 36. Rb1 {its all over}

    No problem. I'm sure you would have seen it with a second look. The main problem is that it just looks so drawn but a pawn on the seventh rank tends to refuse the natural results. 🙂

    Edit: Nvm I figured it out.

    Black has a winning endgame. Still not easy and I still don't see why white resigned so early.

    31. Ra7 {threat was ...a4} ... e4 32. exd4 c4! {can't take} 33. Rxa7 c3! 34. Ra1 Rxd4 then black will go Rd8-a8-a3-xb3 and be winning.

    Maybe, he worked it out on his analyze board beforehand and knew a
    2400+ rated player would see the best line.

    Even after my given line the game still has a hard fight left to go.

    Although I have not yet finished my 6 pack (good call, by the way), my goal of using this thread as "fly paper" to distract all the BS posts from the legitimate chess threads has ended in abject failure, as I came to realize when I read the "Blind Chess" thread.

    We may now draw the curtain on this little comical charade. Good night all!
