A picture of Paul Morphy in a ‘B’ Movie Horror flick.

I stumble across Paul Morphy’s marriage certificate.

This leads to a Paul Morphy game which in turn takes
us to a classic Tal v Petrosian game inspired by Morphy.
In between those two I manage to sneak in one of my games.

Next an interesting and instructive game played on
here a few weeks ago by a couple of 1800 RHP lads.

The Hall of Doom makes a return.

Just guessing here, but this may have something to do with how show business prefers to portray chess players, which is usually socially dysfunctional neurotics, obsessed with a complicated board game. Though this image may contain a grain of truth, it's hardly the whole story. Oh well, I guess we can live with a wee bit of negative imagery.
