Hampstead was using english descriptive notation, but didn't capitalize the knight file designation (N). This was the standard in English speaking countries until the late 1970's.

English Descriptive Notation:
1. Q-N7 ch KxQ
2. N-B5 dbl ch K-N1
3. N-R6 mate

Algebraic Notation:
1. Qg7+ Kxg7
2. Nf5+ Kg8
3. Nh6# 1-0

I didn't think anyone other than Spock on rerun used descriptive anymore.
