Hi all,

I'm probably a strong player but my endgame can be a little listless. Is anyone here a willing expert to discuss strategy through gameplay, or, anyone got ideas of best resources? I struggle to make my way through endgame books to be honest ..

I like Silman's book where he breaks down end game topics by rating.

You can check to see the end game stuff you should know but don't, remediate.

After you have caught up, you can work on what you should know.

I think we all do, some more than others. A few good ways.. Playing through master games is always well advised. Capablanca is great for endgame study.

One of my favorites to practice is rook endings. I have found inputting a won endgame from a master game into an engine intending to finish to be both instructive and rewarding.

In this scenario I can attest I know several thousand ways to blow a won ending against proper play. 😉

When it comes to blowing a good position, I'm a natural.

Some master once said that one almost never wins a game; opponents lose them. Certainly true in my case.
