Hi folks....One of the most common ways that a queen is trapped is after it captures the b pawn.
The following Queen trap is common not only in the example shown.
White has just played the mysterious (to some) a3 hoping black will take on b2.



try to figure out the fastest way to win the queen after the queen captures on b2.

I recently played a similar trap as black.



Obviously this only works with a bishop on d6.

I learned of this trap while watching a DVD on the Barry Attack. I actually got to use it once in a game.
