On some, not all, of my games when I click on the square of a piece the square immediately to its' left lights up and I am unable to make any move at all in that game. It does repeat the process for the same game.

Originally posted by caissad4 It appears to be most of my games. I am at work right now and will try from home later wher I have IE9 and Windows 7. This is frustrating. :'(

in some games move problems. knight lands on adjacent, illegal square when trying a move
If you are on Win7 (if not on a locked down machine) I suggest upgrading to IE 9 or 10 right away. Not just for this site, but for better performance elsewhere too.
I have been testing on IE8 (Build 8.0.60001.18702) on XP with Service Pack 3.
Although IE8 is slow (JavaScript performance is not great) it still functions as expected. Can anyone with problems with IE8 still post further version information so I can try to reproduce this issue? Thanks.

I'm actually experiencing the exact same problem as described (cllick on piece, square to left lights up; tried drag and dropping a legal move, it highlights pink after submit). I AM running IE9 on Windows 7.
I have same windows 7 and IE 9 ..and I cannot move if from H8 and it seems random where you click mouse as to what piece is selected ....must say am more than disappointed ...dont mine the new layout ..but bugs like this should be sorted before released
I also am having trouble moving. When highlighting a piece, the adjacent square becomes highlighted, and moving to any other square besides that one causes the move to be rejected.
