How come I don’t have an “Get PGN of this game”-icon to the right of my board. The layout there is also slightly different, for instance I have no game history. Why?

When you look at somebody elses games, you're actually looking at the Game History page. You can find this page for your own games by clicking on Game History in the grey bar over the board.
