as a teenager, when i realized just how biased i was to use some words, phrases, idioms, i was horrified and longed to make it right...
i will struggle with white privilege my whole life, and work daily to render it inoperable...

No one is able to choose into what family one is born, nor the community that that entails but as we age we can change our attitudes towards those who are not "like us". What a shame that more people don't get that eh? 😳
