Stillborn, dead on arrival... on tubes since day one and still barely cooking, thanks to the random kindness of strangers.

actually a healthy 393 posts is a sign for live, even if only a pointless one I think

I'm beginning to believe. There may be a point afterall. We might collectivey, as a chess community, find meaning in this. What was once throught to be complete nonsense might be discovered to contain real value, depth, insight - inspiration to be more than we ever thought we could be. Or not.

That's why it's sticky, is it not?

One pleasant and unique feature of the "Sticky Thread Game" is that everybody wins.

The threat is stronger than its execution.

In fact I didn't read any of his books. I only read about him.

Is that telling much about me?

Ponder, "threat" (typo) in lieu of 'thread' struck me as an interesting slip in context.

😉

I realized the typo since you highlighted it 🙂

And I of course saw your refernece to Freud'schem Versprecher, however I tried to extent the joke in admitting (truthfully) that I only know of him second hand. Now if you would have had the Freud quote handy that would have impressed me.
