Originally posted by USArmyParatrooperI think these averages are deceptive. TE is one of the positions of depth on the offense but the second and third string don't make nearly as much as the starter and TEs tend to be more durable so the backups don't get paid as much as a backup WR.
Tight Ends. They play a key role as part of the receiving core, as well as the blocking corps.
