So much for Prairie Home Companion.

That is a shocker. We have listened to that show for decades. This allegation game is getting serious!

Oh NO, now Matt Lauer~

They're falling like flies. Man, when will they learn to keep it in their pants and hands to themselves?

Meanwhile REAL creeps like Cosby and Moore (Roy, not Michael).....

In that link he allegedly said the folllowing in 1994: "A world in which there is no sexual harassment at all is a world in which there will not be any flirtation."

Flirtation is defined as “behavior that demonstrates a playful sexual attraction to someone.” (Google)

I’d say not the entire world, but the workplace is a world where such flirtation is to be stifled.

Note also that such flirtation might not be the entirety of the accusations against him.

I read in a later report, Garrison said, 'I am bewildered'. I wonder if it happened so long ago he doesn't even remember the encounter whatever it was, whoever it was. Maybe MPR (Minnasota Public Radio) over-reacted. I don't think it was the same level as Matt Lauer or Kevin Spacey or Trump for that matter. I wonder why he hasn't had more allegations, but I suspect that would be because of the transfer of big bucks to several women.

If rich powerful men should not behave like hard-ons, women should not dress like they enjoy teasing. You all aren't ready for reality, though.

So on which planet would that situation occur? I don't think that would be describing Earth.

I wonder how many of these people attacked Trump for the "Grab them by the..." line?

"In olden days a glimpse of stocking was looked on as something shocking..."

Times change. People have become sensitised to things they were blind to 40 years ago.

Different societies tolerate different behaviour, too. Groping is part of daily life for women in Italy; gangs of boys sometimes shadow a woman and grope her in broad daylight, no one intervenes. Gangs of young men tried that in Germany and were met with public outrage and indictments.

Cosby still got to go on trial next year.
Don't know who Roy Moore is so can't comment.

So you're saying that it wouldn't bother you if a gay man did the exact same things to you as happens to women on a daily basis? After all, what are comfortable clothes for you might mean you dress like you enjoy teasing to them.

Seriously, men who are determined to molest women and girls do so no matter what they are wearing. And what they wear is irrelevant; if every woman on earth decided to start walking buck naked down the street, you still don't get to touch her without her very clear, prior consent. And again, if you don't want a gay man doing it to or in front of you, don't do it to or in front of a non-consenting woman.

Obviously. I'm trying to put women's experience and this blaming BS in terms a straight guy should be able to understand. Imagine your boss grabbing his crotch every time he sees you, or whipping it out as if you're going to find that in any way appealing, or grabbing your privates because he's your boss and he can get away with it. Imagine being told that it's your own fault because you know men find tee shirts and jeans sexy and you shouldn't have been wearing them. Or your boss has posters of naked men on the walls and if you don't like it, too bad. Or he makes it clear that your job depends on satisfying him, and if you don't, not only do you lose your job, but he'll make sure you don't work again for anyone else, either. That's what some of the women are experiencing. Now imagining stuff like this happening from the time you're a little kid. It's your own fault, of course, because you shouldn't have been born a boy. Imagine going grocery shopping and wondering if that's just a group of guys also going grocery shopping or are you in danger? The point of introducing the concept of gay men was to encourage empathy, however briefly. Somewhere there might be a man who actually wonders "How would I like it if some man was doing this to me?"

It's easy to blame others when you have no frame of reference because of your privilege. Especially if you have done the same things as the men who are now being named and shamed finally. Females are harassed and assaulted from the time they're young. Whoever posted the BS before needs to let go of any moronic ideas that women and girls deserve what happens to them.
