Not seeing the allure. I guess you had to have grown up with it.
It's definitely acquired in the cradle. The rusk you give a teething baby always has its bit of vegemite. Nutella never really took off here because it's too sweet.

Yes, apparently. The page describes it perfectly. Makes sense, I suppose. I never thought to slice up toast in that fashion. Maybe it's a Brit thing.
It never occurred to me to dip toast in an egg. We always had our soft eggs prepared and put on toast, cutting the whole thing up into bite-sized pieces as we ate it.

Aaah, so a true 'comfort food', something remembered from childhood.
I'm not big on Nutella, either. I prefer peanut butter, but then, I'm American. When I was a kid, peanut butter was hugely popular, not so much this generation. Too many kids nowadays with nut allergies.
