Why thank you for the offer. I will, when the time comes, ask for your expertise. I have a thought for a new book, floating around in my head, where the story will take place in Southern France or Italy, two places that I believe you are familiar with.
Yes I have been there and quite a few times in Italy, and I also have 'connections' who might help us.

As I said, the idea is floating around at the moment but when it finds it's "port" I will indeed seek your input.

A couple of my friends have suggested I write a book about my life - how can I do that when I hardly remember what I had for lunch the past few days... 🙂

I'm going to guess that, like me, you didn't keep a journal. 🙂

I did, on my "little" European vacation in 1966/67 keep a diary but have no idea where it is. 🙂 Now, like you I write everything "important" on a calendar. Some day I'll figure out how to do so on my IPad. Ya right, I have trouble remembering how to turn it on. 🙂

I keep a small calendar at home which I'm supposed to take with me when I meet up with friends. It's always left at home though and I need emails to remind me what we have decided. But it works.

If you do find your notes from 66/67, it might help with your book. 🙂

According to Keith Richards, if one remembers 1966 and 67: They were likely stuck in the 1950's. 😵

(Just kidding...I was a toddler...and can't remember Keith Richards.)

I remember very clearly the 60's but I'm not quite sure it is reliable. 🙂

And that shocked many a parent, who had grown up in the depression years, and were, for the most part, not "liberal".
