@mwmillersaid Another issue with the "lozenge" buttons.
The "Forums" lozenge button drop-down menu does not work correctly.
Confirmed - I broke it recently. Now fixed.
The forum's drop down menu might become dynamic in future, so the contents are loaded when selected (like the Clan & Club menus). The items listed would always be correct and direct link to clan/club forums could be provided.

Start with the top 3 links on its' drop-down menu, when you click "Forums".
Public Forums does take you to the current public forums page.
Clan Forums takes you instead to the public forums page again.
Club Forums also takes you to the public forums page ...[text shortened]... at I do go to that one club forum.
I'm on an HP laptop running windows 7 and the Firefox browser.
Good find. This was tested in the past - so you've stumbled upon an introduced bug here that is more widespread than just the forums. Reproducible when a direct link to a tabbed page is used such as the leaderboard/tables. (The correct tab is selected, but the incorrect content is loaded.). 🤔
Further to my previous response, when viewing a thread, you can click the forum name to the right of the header with the poster's details in it (below "recommended" button) - this is a link to return to the threads list too.
@divegeestersaid It’s just a visual thing; on the main page there is a row of icons in rounded corner rectangles. The far left one is “home” and it’s notably smaller than the rest in the row. I notice it 😄
You'll need to help me out here....
Do you mean on the Home Page or the My Home page?
I'm assuming on the My Home page, the card top left of the column has a smaller gap than the others?
The chevron "back" button will take you back up any hierarchical navigation (top left, under the logo). It will always take you back to thread's list, regardless of how you arrived at the posts.
I've been using the beta for a while, and it never occurred to me that it wasn't available in any other way as I'm using the back button now where it is available.
Give it a go, and if you are still wanting another dedicated button, I'll look at adding one.
A fairly significant web site update is about to land soon. If you would like to help test this beta, you can preview it right now at Beta.RedHotPawn.com.
Please login, just do your normal thing, and provide any feedback to :
If possible, please take a look at Beta.RedHotPawn.com for a preview of the upcoming web site update, and to help test all functionality prior to the deployment of this update.
TU from me, Russ. It's tedious work, ... I do know a little bit about coding.
Thanks.
I'll be closing this thread later - and will create a new open beta thread. If things go well (and I do have more testing to do with general housekeeping tasks too) then this could be in production in 1 week. Which would be nice.
A new update (possibly the last significant update!?) has hit the beta.
This includes :
- Various fixes for clubs.
- Various clan challenge admin negotiation related fixes.
- Game play messaging has received some more attention. It now uses the same rendering as the DM system. The chat and games logs also now flow from oldest to newest, with the window scrolled to the bottom automatically - much as a regular chat/log would work.
- Removed the red highlight color for forum down votes. The number of downvotes are still shown, but not highlighted as before.
The only priority outstanding task is ad related, so this release is nearly fully cooked now, thankfully!
@mwmillersaid When you scroll down any long page, that top identifying row moves off of the page along with the data rows, instead of staying frozen at the top.
This may have to arrive later. I want to make a few things "sticky" (column headers & side bar when scrolling) but also don't want to hold up this release.
