Is anybody actually administering this tournament? It's clear that the few games remaining have been abandoned. Time to either move on to the next round or pull down the curtain on this farce.
To the winner of this tourney goes the life time achievement award in chess. The only tournament that isn't won by besting your opponents skills, but merely out living your opponents. Here's to another grand twenty-eight years everyone. Frozen molasses moves quicker... Welcome to chess purgatory!!! Egad!!! Gadzooks!!! Fuddlebugs!!! This is bullsnot I tell you, bullsnot!!! AUGH!!! P.S. Mid-Year tournament refers to, "Middle of next year," and has nothing to do with the fact it started in July. B(
Why such tournaments with a large number of participants are arranged only for non-subscribers? Yesterday I specifically wanted to cancel my subscription to sign up here, but in the end I changed my mind. Play in such large tournaments is much more interesting than in small octets and duels.
@streha: Normally tournaments start a short time (within a few hours) of the tournament reaching it's max entries. This is an experimental tournament though, so regular policies may not apply.
Q- how long will a time-out last?
If Clare Pellar was still alive, she'd have something to say about this.
Active group deciding games are still in progress. The next round will start once those remaining games have concluded.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it true that the exact start date for this tournament cannot be seen? Any idea when it starts?
quick question, is the six-game limit waived for non-subscribers for this tourney?
