what if the Yankees went 0-19 vs Boston this year, yet still won the division?

highly unlikely but if they did and had to play boston again to get into the ws mentally would they be able to overcome that record?

In 1988, the Dodgers lost 10 out of 11 against the Mets during the regular season, but managed to beat them in the NLCS.

Yanks are 0-8 with Sox, but only 2 or so games back.

Yanks have not made their West Coast trip.

Sox are all done out west. This will widen the gap unless Sox start to tumble.
The season will probably end with a 2 or 3 game gap when all is said and done between Sox and Yanks head to head, we'll see who gets to the playoffs.
