The lie that all Christians are eternally saved once they profess their faith, does not become truth even if it is accepted by the majority of Christians.

    First the question
"Does anyone dictate good and evil?"

If the answer is NO then your question is non-sensical.

If you think the answer is YES then your question is probably already answered.

I've never heard any Christian claim that.

I can think of a few people who deserve to be burnt alive. Burning everyone whose names are not written in the book of life ... well, that one is wrong.

The Bible doesn't teach that all you have to do is proclaim your faith and that's it.

What is objectively good is known by God, and was revealed by His Gospel on earth, obviouisly, is the only proper Christian response.

It also is true that many people, without God, have some idea of the good, and know what the good is to a very clear degree, and this is because they are ikons of God.

The "culture" or the "times" never dictate what is moral or virtuous, or what is a vice.

This is because cultures and times and periods tend to produce their own vices that they deem as necessary for having a comfortable, managed society, and they just throw their hands up and say "oh, this is how it has to be" whenever they are questioned on it too much for their own liking.

If nobody dictates it why do we all agree that certain actions are always evil?
