Anyone know how to get rid of it ? cos I've tried everything I can think of without success.
😕
If its windows, its probably just a background. (Assuming M$ Windows) Right click anywhere on the background, right click, click properties and choose a different background.

Tried that but you can't click on it, it just clicks on the desktop. I've also tried dragging it but nothing doing.
It looks like some sort of overlay i.e. you can see the desktop picture through it.

Running MS Windoes XP (home edition).
Have u tried peeling off the sticker? 😛
I dunno Colleman, cos I don't have XP, but it might have something to do with active desktop. Can u get a screen grab (CTRL + Print Screen) and host it somewhere?

lol
I tried Ctrl & print screen but nothing happens.
Thanks for your time anyway - perhaps Russ will be able to help.
When you mentioned active desktop earlier I went looking but can't find it. MS give three methods of enabling/disabling active desktop and I've tried all three but have not come across it anywhere. My 'on board' help does say it comes disabled by default.

This is my last suggestion, after this I'm stumped.
Are you 100% SURE it is not just a 'desktop background' image?
-Right click anywhere empty on your desktop. Select properties.
-Display properties dialog appears.
-Select 'desktop' tab.
-select 'background' image.
They could have branded all the default images, so try one of your own photos.

OK - been there - done that; damn thing is still there!
However if I enable it I can use my home page as my desktop which hides the logo but makes the desktop less interesting. Perhaps I can play about with my home page somehow but I sure would like to get rid of it.

Hi Russ
Thanks for taking an interest.
It is superimposed on all the background pictures except those horrible ones like 'blue lace' etc which seem to obliterate it.
Have you been to the photobucket site mentioned above to see what it looks like?
Originally posted by colleman Yes it is, with some exceptions like 'coffee bean' , 'greenstone' etc which seem to obliterate it.

If u want a photo as a background then use one of your own, or go to a site like www.webshots.com and find a photo that u like. Right click on it and then choose set as background/wallpaper depending on your browser.

Eureka!
Many thanks. I've dowloaded a picture from www.webshots.com and there is no logo.
