Formatted table in the forum?

I'd like to put a table in our clan forum but it looks horrible, you can't recognize the columns. If you have more than one whitespace in a row they all seem to be aggreated to one.
Is there a way to write a formatted table in the forum?

No, I don't think there is.

But (and this should be posed in the "Site Ideas" Forum) that a new tag is invented, like [courier]equal spaced typefont[/courier] where the characters are not propotional, but fixed in space. In this way a formatted table can be written.

Fixed font or a tab tag, both would do.
