There are certain conditions to observe before castling.
eg the king can't move through a position that would in effect pass through a check
the king or rook can't have previously moved
the king moves 2 spaces toward rook

If you click the king, and click on the square two places on either side, and the king moves there, but the rook doesn't move? Such a king move isn't possible.
Help -> FAQ -> Castling (http://www.redhotpawn.com/help/index.php?help=castling)
for the complete requirements to castle.
Post the game id number if you want us to point at what you are doing wrong (/missed to see).

That's quite a leap of faith. In my 6+ years here I've seen 1500- 1900 players who didn't know how to castle, en passant, and also get confused about stalemate positions calling them bugs in the system.

Also remember the famous incident during the 1974 Karpov-Korchnoi match, when in the 21st game Korchnoi had a question for the arbiter. What was it about? Castling.
