@badradgersaid scotian banks/bay of fundy/eastern george banks.....are any near your part of canada. since 94 cod fishing was banned in canada untill about 5 years ago.
scotia banks/bay of fundy/eastern george banks cover a lot of area, there is fishing done in different parts along the eastern george banks.

And what I am saying from living here (in eastern Canada) is not one Cod is to be found over in Newfoundland....They are either fishing it and shipping it all away or the big trawler factories are cleaning up.
