Ex-UK, living in Tokyo, semi-retired. Playing chess on and off for more than fifty years so I've seen most of the smart moves before (even if I don't remember them). If your elo is lower than mine and I have a bad day you might beat me but don't count on it. If you don't have a profile, please don't challenge me, as I like to know something about the person I'm playing. I enjoy chatting during a game. I prefer games that run at more than 10 moves a day and if you have one or two hours to spare, I can usually play faster games within that time. If you have a low elo rating and would like to learn, I can also play unrated instructional games. My regular opponent is shaunlorimer ... he's come on a lot since we have been playing for several months and he still comes back for more 🙂
