I like to play chess but the last time I did before registering here was when I went on holiday to Iceland (an amazing country) a few years ago, and the last time before that was even longer... In Iceland I think I lost every game I played, and one of them was in something stupid like two or three moves.

I enjoy travelling, with Iceland, Plitvice National Park in Croatia, Neuschwanstein Castle and the Scottish Highlands being some of my favourite places so far. Some of my dream destinations, which I'll start to cross off once I've saved a bit more money, include Central and South America (especially Venezuela, Argentina, Chile and Peru), Angkor in Cambodia, Kamchatka, the Outer Hebrides, Georgia and New Zealand. I'd also like to visit Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks in the USA, as well as parts of Nevada, Utah, Arizona and Hawaii...and many, many more places!

When I'm not travelling I'm probably reading about travelling, looking at photos from around the world and watching travel programmes. Well, I'm not quite that bad; I also enjoy films and reading, as well as anything creative like writing and photography.
