Tallymanwill is a warm, bright man who enjoys chess but recognizes that he does not have the genius to be a master. His chess game is heavily influenced by his tendency to play fast. Unfortunately, he becomes easily bored by plodders and 40 percent of his losses are claimed skulls. Still, he enjoys the game and will hang in there with players of at least moderate speed, and even slow players who are obviously good -- or not so good but play an interesting, or puzzling, style. Still, he prefers pace to plodding; brilliance to deliberation; and movement to stillness.
