I learned to play Chess at around age 3 or 4. I played a lot of Chess growing up and even won a couple of tournaments. Around 7th grade my interests went in different directions, now almost 30 years later I'm trying to get back into the grid. I'm a big fan of Peter Ganine's Chess set designs. His "Gothic" is my favorite.
A few of my favorite Chess books are: Winning Chess by Chernev & Reinfeld, Modern Chess Strategy by Pachman, and How to Reassess Your Chess by Silman.
