For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18 (Not everyone that hears these words fully understands what Jesus Christ actually did for us, nor do they understand the eternal danger of not accepting Him. Some people wonder why they should love God. If this were a prince dying for his princess, the princess would weep for him, and love him for the sacrifice he had made for her. Jesus is constantly knocking at the door of the heart of the lost soul that constantly rejects Him. He loves the world so much that He gave His life for us. With this, I can honestly say that there is no one more worthy of my love. I can also honestly say that , with all the love commitment and faithfulness I could ever give Him , I was never worthy of His. Yet even though, if my love for Him were all my riches, I would be more sorely lacking than a peasant of peasants, He still loves me, and has saved me from the Fiery depths of Hell, because I have accepted Him as my LORD and Saviour).
