I'm a Norwegian dabbler who've been playing chess on and off for 25 years (my dad thought me how to play when i was 6-7 years old, and he never let me win😉). My interest in chess comes and goes, but usually gets a little boost when Magnus Carlsen does well in a tournament. My last play-period has lasted longer than the previous ones, and I'm studying to improve my game further.

I'm a computer software engineer, and other hobbies beside chess include photography, woodworking, squash, bicycling etc.

I'm taking a little break from chess and RHP now (summer 2010), because I've bought a house in a different part of the country and need some time to relocate and refurbish 🙂
