I had never heard of this site till my brother (Spocks brain) sent me a challenge. Now I wish I'd known about it sooner. I love the chance to hone my skills against chess players from around the world.
RE: Timeouts - Like most, will claim timeout if no vacation notice is apparent.
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
Rated stats are updated within 24 hours of the last completed rated game.
