That is correct. Nothing.
The previous owner has written something on the blank pages
before the games start and scribbled a bit on the cover.
so the junk shop had it in a recycle bin.
One of the best ever books written on chess and it is laying there
along with all kinds of junk ready to get all pulped and turned into what
ever it is pulped up books get pulped into.
I cannot see the point of having two books the same so it s freebie
to anyone in the world.
It goes to the first person to PM me their shortest win on RHP ending
in checkmate, but the score must be indescriptive notation.
The book is in descriptive. I want to be sure the winner understands
descriptive so I know this book will not be a dust gatherer.

A Wonderful instructive blunder from Black in this one

Players are more worried about their pieces than they are about their King. Black shunned 16...Qxg8 because 17.Rg1 wins the open g-file with tempo and the coming Bg7+ must win. So ended the 3 second analysis. See the next game.} 17.Rg1+ Kh8 18.Bg7+ Kg8 19.Bf6+ {The reluctance to have the Queen attacked with 16...Qxg8 cost black the game. But he need not have lost. bombs all the time.
Twice our street had the windows blown out when they Bomd Disposal
team were making them 'safe'.

getting pulped into loo paper.
Bomb scares like that are nothing out of the ordinary here on the continent. They happen all the time, every now and then, although usually not on that scale. We had a smaller one here in the Netherlands a week or so ago. I can't remember a single one which ended badly, but of course the moment you stop being careful is when someone dies.

I already have a Chernev book in descriptive notation and I don't want another. I do know descriptive notation, and I dislike it intensely. It is a fine notation when looking at just one of the sides, but when playing through both sides (i.e., when doing what games are written down for in the first place), it is a veritable pain in the fundamentum.
