Here is a joke you can play on your buddies at the chess club.
I have caught a few with, once I caught three players all at the same time.
You show them this game. It’s only 12 moves so you should
be able to remember it.
1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.e5 c5 4.Qg4 cxd4 5.Nf3 Nc6 6.Be2 f5 7.Qg3 Bd7 8.Nxd4 Nxd4 9.Bh5+ g6 10.Qxg6+ hxg6 11.Bxg6+ Ke7 12.Bg5 {Checkmate. It’s important you show them the Queen sac way to mate. It puts them into a big sac on g6 mode....

The hardest bit about doing this blog is the beginning.
The chess stuff is pretty easy, pluck any RHP game at random or be inspired
by a thread. Either usually gives me something I can make use of.
But I don’t want to just dive in with a game. There is no fun in that.

I was playing through a game on another forum where a lad who was White
picked up a whole Rook with a Knight Fork on c6.
1r1q4/8/2N5/8/8/8/8/8 w - - 0 1
This was the pattern, and then went onto lose.
I advised him not to feel too bad (it happens) and made a small bet that I could find
an RHP game with the same trick using the same pattern and with the same result....
