Clan admin features are now available on the beta. All parts of the web site are now accessible.
@moonbus saidI'll go with Summary - plain English, so a better choice.
How about "summary" view ?
@mwmiller saidI'm not experiencing this myself in Win Firefox.
OK, I tried shift/f5 and ctrl/f5 and it didn't make any difference.
Shift/f5 tried to put firefox into some kind of recording mode, which I have no idea of what that is.
But it's not staying on my selected setting for the 'my games' page. I selected the 'compact' view, but it doesn't stay on that selection. If I open a specific game, then return to my games, it goes to the new option you just added I think.
@mwmiller saidOk, this is probably related to the me changing the view type ids for the new view type. I'll take a look.
@Russ
I think there is a problem again with the 'my games' page. It came up earlier in the beta, and was fixed, but now it's back. I set the 'my games' page up to show the 'compact' view, but that doesn't stay selected. If I leave the page then come back, or just refresh it, the view reverts back to whatever the default is.
@moonbus saidAn "Abdridged" option has been added on "My Games". I'm open to better name suggestions for the reduced "card" view.
Yes, and yes please.
@mwmiller saidI'll take a look at that, and get a fix up.
I'm still using a laptop running win7.
I don't usually care for 'dark mode' but decided today to try it in the beta.
In one of my games, my opponent sent an 'in game' text message, and in dark mode I way barely able to read it.
I composed a reply and it was fine as I put it together, but when I finished the message and made and sent it with my next move, my reply was also ...[text shortened]... re in the chat log.
So is this just a problem with the beta, or does it need further attention?
@shannon saidFixed and will be uploaded within next couple of hours.
I notice that in the 'Analyze Game' window the 'Reset All' button is missing in beta. I use this constantly so would be nice to have!
@mwmiller saidI've made a few quick edits to correct obviously incorrect information (such as account name changes) and added processes. (archiving games).
Is there a plan to update the FAQ section? I have found one thing that should be changed.
I recently recruited a new member for RHP, and explained to him that he needed to take a little time to think about what he wanted as a username, as it cannot be changed. He could change his email or password if he needed to, but the username could not be changed.
And then just ...[text shortened]... be updated by new users once within first 30 days. Subscribers can also update once every 365 days.
@divegeester saidCan you re-review this please?
- Pages move side to side when dragged by my finger rather than being static within the screen. Actually game page in original does move but the forum thread listing page is fixed. I like the “fixed” feel, it is more substantive somehow. I hope this makes sense I’m probably using incorrect terms.
