So I guess I figured I would start with a Knight Gambit... Although the mistake was actually already a move ago. d4 doesn't help at all in this situation, but rather it loses the a1 rook. Maybe Ne2 would have been... Actually, that would have been mate after Bf2++. I haven't really studied the Mate Gambit much, so I'm not very comfortable with it.

It was a good choice to check the king before taking the knight.

So that it's safe to take the bishop. But maybe Qe1 would have been better.

This rook gambit was pretty much forced along with the knight gambit.
