I was born on 8 May 1949 in Bruges, Belgium. I teach Dutch and English at a secondary school in Bruges.
Chess is only one of my interests. I'm into sports (inline and ice skating), photography and birdwatching as well.
Two years ago I started a chess club at my school and quite a few pupils attend it on a regular basis. At least six of them play rings around me.
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
