Most, if not all, national soccer leagues have a league and a knock-out competition
over the season. Why can't American Football have that. The two winners could
play in a charity event at the start of the following season (as is done in England).

Of course 16 teams would be ideal for that.

I like the kickoff rule, much safer for athletes. I like the way the clock stops at the end of each half.

But it is a lower quality product, like watching any other feeder league.
