The general order of karate belts is white, yellow, green, blue, brown and black.

Last brawl I saw American sailors in they got their asses kicked by a few Canadians and the Canadians were out numbered.

Nevertheless, just as the bottom rankers in your chess club's competition could probably mate a random home player, a white belter could probably flip most desk jockeys.
I ought to know, I'm a bottom ranker, a white belter, and a desk jockey...

I have two brother in the martial arts with black belts and different degrees. I know how it works. They wouldn't give one of my brothers his black belt because they didn't like his attitude. They changed their mind after he kept beating all the black belts in tournaments as a brown belt, made them look bad.

A persons belt colour doesn't always tell their skill level.
