Gets under way on Friday... most open world cup ever?

Doubt it. Number one ranked team in the world going to breeze through it 😉

Tsk, Trev. You are forgetting the team that dismantled Ireland , putting over 50 points past them, a mere 5 weeks ago.

If NZ and England both win their group they could meet in the semis. That's if they get past Aus or Wales in the quarters, I just don't see it happening.

You mean to get to the final you have to beat some half decent teams?

    Never would have guessed it!

England have beaten Oz on the last 6 (at least) times they have played them. If they can keep their best 23 fit, they have every chance

The art of mild sarcasm lost in messaging. As I suspect you know.

Your optimism over Ireland is noted. As is your total ignoring of the fearful battering they took from England just 5 weeks ago.

I think the small Pacific countries will do better than expected if you're a gambler (Fiji, Samoa, Tonga}. Take them on the line in each game and you should finish in front. Tonga have 45.5 start against England in the next game. Sounds like a good bet to me.

Can't see the Wallabies doing a great deal. The All Blacks seem unbeatable.

Well, nice little collect there. Easy in the end. 13.5 points to spare. On to the next game. Fiji v Uruguay. Uruguay have 29.5 on the line. Won't be enough. Get on Fiji on the line (all up Samoa with 21.5 start against Scotland if you're game). Happy punting folks.

Can anyone tell me how Ireland are ranked above the All Blacks. They've played against each other 31 times with the All Blacks winning 28 times losing 2 with one draw. Laughable.

I believe the current rankings are based on CURRENT form, rather than going back into the annals of history.

The All Blacks lost recently to both Oz and SA, I believe, in the recent S Hemisphere tournament?

Having said that, is English find it hard to see how Ireland have reached number 1. We hammered them by 40 points v recently.

Hmmmmmm...........may have to rethink that strategy. Fiji beaten by Uruguay. how embarrassing. Luckily missed getting a bet on. Game kicked off earlier than I thought.

Personally don't follow Rugby much but love a bet so would appreciate anyone who follows it providing their tips (at the line) for each game.

Go the Aussies (although they probably have a snowballs chance of winning) !!!
