It ain't good, but these tours are organised simply for ££££, no proper preparation. Similarly we need to reschedule the summer cricket season if we want to prepare young players properly for Test cricket.
Whole new argument. Not a massive horse racing fan, but I can recognise the class of the winners of the 5 classics.
Good snooker tournament on in Wales at the moment, one in which Ronnie O'Sullivan has decided to 'turn up'. Saw him in Preston a month ago, and he was electric.

It just beggars belief that Smith and Warner have stepped down from their captaincy duties (big deal!), yet continue to play in the Test.
I may have been hasty to condemn Bancroft so badly, it looks like he was persuaded/bullied into it by the management team.
Very sad for cricket. Long ...[text shortened]... the sharpest tool in the box. They not aware that cameras capture absolutely everything nowadays
One thing that most Australians (barring the Australian cricket team who think they're holier than god) pride themselves on is their sense of fair play.
Something like this is a national shame. Smith, Lehmann and co will be crucified for this, and rightly so.
The attitude and general behaviour of the Australian cricket team over recent years has been questionable at best and a hard line to punishment may help to wake them up that they are not as good as they think they are.
There are a lot of talented young blokes knocking on the door of selection. Maybe its time to sweep out the garbage in the team and give these young blokes a go.
