    @Ghost-of-a-Duke

You seem fixated on the one testimonial I provided from Brent Barber while ignoring the many others from ex-members will negative and cultish tales to tell.

Trying to reduce it to just one person is highly disingenuous.

Ah, showing lack of confidence already in what Brent Barber so eloquently spoke on his video?

I don't need to answer to your piling on of scores of other Brent wannabes.
YOU go ahead and believe whatever you need to believe to make your Atheism comfortable for you.

Not at all. I am shining a light on your transparent tactic of trying to merge the damning testimonials into one person you can then discredit.

The local churches believe that God is the only one Triune God—the Father, the Son, and the Spirit—co-existing equally from eternity to eternity (1 Tim. 2:5a, Matt. 28:19).

    I agree with this.
But from the moment I was saved, I could not give a theological conversant discussion academically on it.

    Something else i agree with.

[quot ...[text shortened]... ed, he must believe in his heart and confess with his mouth. [/b] [/quote]

    I agree with this too.
    Thanks for the blog.

When you are ready and feel liberated from whatever pressure is preventing you...please feel free to answer the actual question I asked instead of the straw one you created.

"For also, we who are in this tabernacle groan, being burdened, in that we do not desi[re [sic] to be unclothed, both clothed upon, that what is moral [sic] may be swallowed up by life." (2 Cor. 5:4)

    I meant to write:

"For also, we who are in this tabernacle groan, being burdened, in that we do not desire to be unclothed, both clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life." (2 Cor. 5:4)

    Moral should have been MORTAL.

This thread has pulled out several behavioural, doctrinal and witness based evidences that the Local Church is indeed a cult.

Calling me a loser and other names just reflects badly on you.
