    Heaven help us.

Mr. Atheist, what kind of help would you like Heaven to render?

Did you take Peter Falk literally when he said:

'My idea of Heaven is to wake up, have a good breakfast, and spend the rest of the day drawing.'

I did think that Confucius, of all people, had it right that a person could sin against Heaven.

I know. But Columbo was an entertainment character of TV fiction. ( played nicely by Peter Falk)

Confucius was a historical Chinese philosopher. I think his comment on Heaven (not being a Christian) was just a bit more significant.

Interesting, that an ancient non-theistic ethical philosophical teacher would say that a man could sin against Heaven. He must have realized something about ultimate Authority.
