This thread is about the key mainstream, or peripheral doctrines in Christianity as modular apps which can be selected and “added on” to form a belief structure. A bit like adding apps to a computer or power ups to a video game.

    ~ CHRISTIANITY WORLD ~

Imagine your in the computer of game lobby selecting your doctrinal apps and let’s do some mental and moral exercises…

    1) Original sin
    - Not compatible with “free will”
    - Works well with “misanthropic narrative” (optional add on, not required for operational use)

    2) Free will
    - Not compatible with “original sin” or “predestination”
    - works well with “judgment” and “punishment” add ons

    3) Predestination
    - not compatible with “free will” and may clash operationally with “judgment” or “punishment”
    - vulnerable to the “elitist” virus
    - is operationally hamstrung by “the few” narratives

    4) Miracles
    - highly compatible with any historical cashe where no current app is in evidence
    - runs faster as a narrative rather than as an operating app
    - effective narrative for attracting other users
    - unreliable in BIG BOSS fights

    5) Hell
    - heavy on RAM even as a only a narrative
    - requires infinite memory space when run as an operating app
    - highly incompatible with “predestination” and may cause a “fatal error” requiring a complete system reboot
    - incompatible with 99% of Galilean based apps especially “Calvary”, “Gospel Message 2.1” “Centurion at the Cross” (optional with Roman add on) “Prostitute stoning” and “Love” narrative.
    - operates as a system boost when run in parallax with legacy apps “Flood” and “Talking Serpent”
    - must be disabled when running “eternal Mercy endurance” or will cause a fatal error.
    - incompatible with “Jesus 1.0” which must be uninstalled before loading “Hell”
    - Can use “Jesus R14.10” if required
    - Warning: “Hell” is a Operating System level app which cannot be uninstalled without replacing the entire hard drive and installing the “Victory” landscape, reloading “Mercy Endurance”, “Jesus 1.0” “Love” and rebooting.

    6) Bible
    - Always read in parallel with the “Morality 2.1” and the “Widescreen Perspective” add ons otherwise a fatal error could occur.
    - Sections can be bookmarked to “Favourites” but users must never share or admit to their bookmarked “Favourites” or a networking issue could occur.
    - Disclaimers: the manufacturer takes no responsibility whatsoever for the accuracy of “Bible” app. Versions 1.1 through to 246.5 should be read thoroughly before taking on “BIG BOSS” as no compensation can be provided should a fatal error occur.

    7) System protocols
    - “Christianity World” like all religious games provides the user with an immersive, real life experience which can be highly enjoyable and deeply satisfying especially when played through to the end.
    - Players should remember that the Java based morality constructs, game access protocols and user modification permissions should be set you “LEARN” in order to get the most out of the platform.

What a bunch of manufactured crap that you probably didn't even think up yourself.

Whatever happened to providing accreditation when you steal something?

Or are you gonna go all in for the plagiarism special?

Did you observe Lent or at least make the attempt this year?

    How clever.

Your description of the key mainstream, or peripheral doctrines in Christianity is "a bit like adding apps to a computer or power ups to a video game" does have some logic to it in the structural sense, however your missing one key element, and that is - who you truly believe Jesus is, and what he did for you all those years ago. Without this key element, your "apps" contain only data.

Oh, BTW - You're apps that suggest being a Christian in some way restrict your free will need some modification. Just remember, no one is forcing you to go down this path. 🙂

Confidence in oneself can be deadly. Especially if it undermines God's Word.

I'm glad you felt the need to come to dives rescue though. Perhaps you can advise him concerning his misanthropic attitude against those that disagree with him as evidenced by his response to suzianne above.

Well, we all die in the end. Life is, by its very nature, "deadly".

I read this: "What a bunch of manufactured crap that you probably didn't even think up yourself. Whatever happened to providing accreditation when you steal something? Or are you gonna go all in for the plagiarism special?"

It seemed to me to be little more than low-grade trolling in response to a pretty interesting OP. Short shrift was what it deserved.

Interesting that you think “God’s word” can be undermined.
