It’s not poetry, but you certainly are using licence with your manipulation of biblical text!
No it is not.
In this case it is Christians with experience joyfully converting their life with Christ into SONG. It is not imaginative manipulators selfishly pushing their own funny doctrine. It is saints celebrating the vitality of intimate fellowship with Christ adhering also to the words of the Bible.
There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed ones of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed ones of God,
Be saved to sin no more.

E’er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.

When this poor lisping, stammering tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save:
I’ll sing Thy power to save,
I’ll sing Thy power to save;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save.
- William Cowper (1731 - 1800)
THANKYOU Brother Cowper for a great song that we fellow Christians have
rejoiced in singing with you for centuries. Praise the Lord.
Are your posts in here being monitored? You seem awfully tense.
Am I suppose to say "Wo'es me !!".
You have every right to be wrong and relaxed Divegeester.
I am confident in the little bit of explanation I have offered here and the supporting passages. And that classic hymn is wonderful.

A glimpse into eternity shows Christ guiding the saved to "springs of waters of life". This reveals Jesus Christ like a shepherd leads them to varied, multiple, inexhaustible, diverse ways to enjoy Him as eternal life.
"They will not hunger anymore, neither will they thirst anymore, . . . For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and guide them to springs of waters of life; and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes." (Rev. 7:16,17)
Instead of hunger and tears there will be Jesus flowing in them forever guiding them to exhaustless springs of waters of life - His indwelling divine life imparting Spirit.
Jesus shepherds us when He comes to flow within us as the life giving Spirit.
"[T]he last Adam became a life giving Spirit" (1 Cor. 15:45b)
Do you believe that there is such a thing as a subjective experience of Jesus Christ?
Yes or No would clarify this to me.

Divegeester,
Do you believe that there is such a thing as a subjective experience of Jesus Christ?
Yes or No would clarify this to me.
Don't look to see if "a subjective experience of Jesus Christ" is in the Bible per se.
Just tell me about whether you believe such a subjective experience of Jesus Christ is possible or not.

A couple days ago I made you an offer to answer any three of your questions if you just answer my one which you were avoiding.
Just let me know when you find your balls.

@divegeestersaid I’m not answering any of your questions until you answer even one of mine which you have been refusing for years to answer.
You're not going to answer it regardless it appears.
Whatever excuse you use next doesn't matter

Sounds like Wrestlemania.
The only question that is important to your denials of Jesus flowing is whether or not the Holy Spirit is the Lord Jesus.
And the answer to that is YES He is according to 2 Cor. 3:17 and 1 Cor. 15:45
So "this He spoke concerning the Spirit" (John 7:39) would mean "this He spoke concerning HIMSELF as the Spirit".
"Now the Lord is the Spirit" remains in the New Testament text regardless of what school yard taunts you resort to to dare someone to stand up to your denial of the teaching of the Bible.
