Where is it you think "the all powerful all merciful God of western religions" [or the Christian one, specifically, as I am fairly sure that is the God figure you have in your sights] ...where has he undertaken to NOT "allow" people to die, whether they be children or from whatever age group?

I’m saying that I perceive that the bitterness you display in your straw man attack on people’s faith comes from your disappointment with your own life. Clearly religion doesn’t F everything it touches, billions of people enjoy their faith and do good works because of it. I’m certainly not F’d by my faith.

Religious faith gives countless hundreds of millions of Christians, for example, a sense of structure and purpose in their lives and gives them solace in the face of death. It is a hugely positive thing in untold millions of lives.
