God’s Creation

Meniscus bulging. Bulb expanding.
Tail squeezing, belly swelling.
Transparent, occasional silvery-blue.
A short life span. Gravity will see to it.
Cause and effect.
Its meaninglessness filled with profundity.
Simplicity, elemental and pure.
Inevitably, a separation into free-fall.
Hurtling towards the void.
Form demolished.
A disconnect reaching for nothing.
Oblivion, the endpoint of the everlasting creation, destruction cycle.
Energy conserved and transferred.
The system greatly affected, ripples agitated vibrationally.
No loved ones left behind, no genes passed on, no relationships.
No memories, no guilt.
No regrets, no angst.
No trace.
Just a fleeting conformation of nature’s laws.
What is creation?

The writer believes in a creator being and in some sort of continuation of our existence after death but he doesn't subscribe to the religious dogma which you just so happen to have absorbed from your environment, rote-learned, internalized and which you regurgitate here like a snarling sports fan. How obtuse can you be?

So you say, but there is no evidence of that in His so-called poem.

And where in the "poem" is that indicated?

Then what "dogma" does he "subscribe" to? To what, or who, does he credit his inspiration? Who is this "creator being" he "believes" in, and how does he know it exists?

And at least I have the integrity to cite the source of my inspiration.

Your perceptions are skewed by your "environment, rote-learned, internalized" and blind acceptance of the lie that the Bible isn't the Word of God.

I think the term "deist" applies to him pretty well. I think the nature of the universe is one of the main things that underpin his belief.

My environment is choc a bloc with Christians. Always has been.

So now it appears I'm debating with an alleged deist through an agnostic-atheist. When did we go from discussing the subject of the OP to discussing the author of that dreadful post?

Now you know a little bit more about him ~ he's more or less a "deist", for example ~ how does it affect the meaning of his your words in your mind?
