    1 Peter 3:5-6:

For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 6as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord

To Christians here: do any of your wives call you "Lord"? Do any women call (or plan to) call their husband's "Lord"?

I heard some wives call their husband "Lord", or "God", but it only lasts a few minutes. Somehow i dont think Peter meant Sarah did that.

Sarah, when she heard she'd be having a baby in her old age with her elderly husband:

    Genesis 18:12:

So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?

    Haha, you're kidding, right?

    What prompted such a question?

All of them say that, but only when I take my underpants off.

    It’s in the Bible.

Sarah called her husband, Abraham, “Lord”

I'm living right now with a gay man.

I find women like that abhorrent. Mindless contributors to the old ways. They help maintain the patriarchy. Traitors to the cause.

Christian? Maybe. Except like most Republicans usually only in name only. Not exactly model Christians.

What about you? With your support for abortion rights, are YOU - to any degree more or less than the woman in the photo that vivify shared - a "model Christian"?

Viviify asked: “do your wives call you Lord?”

You asked vivify: “Haha, you're kidding, right? What prompted such a question?”

    I’m helping you.

A person's position on abortion does not make - nor break - one a Christian.

Can your idea of a Christian be any more pharisaical? Always judgemental.

When was the last time that woman fed a homeless person? Or gave them a place to stay off the street? Or arranged to get them vaccinated?

    Yeah, I thought so.

What's her excuse? "My husband didn't let me"?

    Simply not good enough.

No one is disputing that Christians "sin". Do you not think abortion is a "sin"?

We have no way of knowing. She may well do some or all of those things.

Can your idea of a Christian be any more pharisaical? Always judgemental.

Why are you being so judgemental about her?
