why can't you book today to have a vacation ?

I woke up this morning and I felt like CR*P and I would have liked to have a day off
But you are not allowed to do this why ?

I can't see how one day of not moving would be a concern?

As far as clan points that debate has went on for years and different changes were made and there is no way everyone will ever be happy about how it is done.

OH yes, I did give you thumbs down on that one as did 2 others so far!

The reason I wanted to be on vacation on the day is because I would have had a lot of games time out
That day I woke up with a headache,coughing and sneezing, not able to concentrate
Probably flu or similar
It would have been nice to have a day off
Not much to ask for
And you haven't given me a reason why this cannot happen

You knew the time limit on the games you were playing, why let moves get to the point where you have to move. If you become unwell as you said then it is always wise to have a few days before HAVING to make the move. This way the one day wouldn't make a bit of difference.

It would be a whole different story if you had a medical condition where you were unable to move at all, but this was not the case you just woke up with a headache and coughing and sneezing....I've actually played games through those minor things.

I'd say not leaving moves to the last possible day would help considerably.

On the other site I am on there was not a problem with booking on the day
Also the clock stops for both players until you resume
Why is it not possible to have this on this site ?

I think I may be on that very same site.

We know what the rules and how things work here and many changes have been made throughout the years.

I know nothing about programming so have no idea how hard or easy it would be to make this change, to be quite honest with you.

The problem with how this site works is
If you take on a tournament that is 7 day time out 7 day time bank and you take a two week holiday
By the time you come back you are already out of time

Then perhaps you shouldn't have added extra days....You have 36 days isn't it?

I seem to have worked it out well over the years!

That doesn't make it right
I think this is one of the reasons players do not go for 1 Day Tournaments
There is a fair chance you will be timed out in them
They take ages to fill up

Personally, I do not believe I've ever played in 1 day Tournaments even though I am pretty much a daily mover, sometimes moving several times in one day.

Reason being don't know when something could happen computer issues, power failure, health issues, etc.,etc., I'd just as soon not time out in a game if I can help it.

I would like to keep this going because I can see from all your posting that you actually like doing this more than playing the game
I think I actually manage all of my many games better than your mere 41 by keeping them all going
But as I say you are more interested in posting all over the place .
I have better things to do

We've both been on this site for 13 years padger. You even have 5 months more on here than me. You All Games Played 9645.

I've played a little over 12,000 games. At the end of the 13 years I've played a few more thousand games than you have. Try to keep up with me!!!! 😛 😉

I am also Offically retired so have more time on my hands now. I've actually been semi-retired since 2013..... I am sure you are very busy!!! 😉 😛

Oh I even have 43 games on the go now not 41....How about you? 😉 Perhaps over 300 at once is too many for you to handle? I have had over 600 on the go at once, but that was just plain crazy never again!!! BTW: Just FYI I am also playing on 2 other sites. I keep my count low here because my Clan games are important to me.
