the whiteness of daily chess ?

there are several of your chess sites already dead white and one tallow yellow one ( which for all intents and purposes has the same eye value as a another white screen ).
if daily chess is to be another edition why is it also white ?

there are several strong sites on the net who have seen the value of a black field ( three come to mind ).

why not make daily chess a black site ? nothing to lose since anyone who wants white as several editions here already.

cannot cost more as a startup to make daily chess black than to make it white again.

like playing chess, don't like large white screens staring back at me for long periods of time.

I'm not ruling this out.

What I am currently considering is reducing all the available "brands" to just two - RHP + DailyChess, but with selectable themes which match the existing alternative brand designs. Plus dark modes for each.
