@joe-shmosaid I'm not sure. Probably a bit mixture of both. In fast time control games it seems most efficient to drag and drop, but I can't be certain that was what I was doing.
How do you play those 1 min games? felt like I was just moving the pieces around and got lucky.

Keep it simple! Attack and defend. Not necessarily "best attack" and "best defense". Also, 1 minute is actually somewhat slow. I play 15 s games on other sites ( You're pretty much just pre-moving ( not supported here ) the pieces on those time controls, but you will be surprised that you can put together sneaky mates in that short of time with practice. Its sloppy and fun!
Also, you can get away with sneaky ( somewhat unsound ) tactics, that you would sniff out in longer time controls.
Obviously my goose was cooked on our last game! good job!

Once everything settles down, I'll look at implementing pre-moves too. I knew it was needed eventually, but one step at a time...
A further cause of phantom games and players being shown online in the counts above the lobby have been identified. Abandoned games that haven't started will cause this issue, and a fix will appear over the coming days.
The current sub-only limitation will be lifted next week too.
