@mister-moggy removed their quoted postHow would you do that? In fact think about it the fractions in the debtes forum would just block each other and wite thread over thread only patting the shoulders of people agreeing with themselves...

@ponderable saidWould that be a "bad" thing? Those who wanted to engage in serious Debate with those having different ideas would still be free to do so, those who don't aren't adding much to the Debates forum anyway.

I would dearly love to block all posts of one individual who engages in little more than name calling, trolling and attempts to start flame wars. It would greatly expand my enjoyment of the site to do so.
@eladar saidWith no 1 he is always right and everyone else is always wrong. When they understand how that works they will be much better off!!! 😉
I have as of yet to see serious debate. All I see are people saying what they believe is right and others who disagree are idiots.
@kewpie saidThen why do we have a "Debate Forum"?
The internet is no place for serious debate or discussion. We all spend most of our time in places where we agree with the thoughts being expressed, and avoid or discount the credibility of sites where we disagree with the content. Add to that our willingness to share the kind of thoughts we would never express in public where our own identity is known.
