"often" is a difficult word to apply here.

Because many scientists have been caught lying and misrepresenting their data to fit the conclusions they want rather than the facts at hand. Science is often politicized to serve an agenda. This is not conspiracy theory, this is provable fact.

That’s not to say that all science is to be mistrusted.

That is the actual core of the article.

But there are no numbers at all. So please tell me how many scientific publications have been found out to be untruthful?. If "often" would be applicable I expect at least 20 to 30%. In fact we are below 1%.

So another polemic hyporbole, that only serves to allow some fringe opinion to claim that they are as well as their well founded scientific counteüart. (We scientists know thatw e don'tz have the truth, but our reality is strongly founded in experimental reproducible facts.)

It depends how many truly independent studies are done. That varies.
